Harvard Fall XIII Main Site

On November 10th, four New York teams traveled to Harvard University to compete at Harvard's Fall Tournament using a house-written packet written by members of the Harvard team. The tournament was around a regular-plus difficulty level, but New York teams performed well overall. Congratulations to DCC A for winning the tournament with a perfect 11-0 record, to Lexington A for taking 2nd, and to Hunter A for finishing 3rd overall.


Hunter A finished with a 9-4 record and 21.21 PPB, the second highest of the tournament behind DCC A which had 22.47 PPB. Captain Daniel Ma finished with a stellar 35 powers and 68 10s for 85.77 PPG, the 4th highest out of 90 competitors. Asher Jaffe had a 13-21-2 statline for 30.38 PPG while Ella Leeds had 3.46 PPG. Despite suffering losses to Boston Latin A and Lexington, Hunter A beat Greens Farms Academy in a half-packet round for placement into parallel playoff brackets. Hunter A again beat Greens Farms 360-170 for 3rd place overall.


Hunter B finished in 7th place with a 5-6 record and 18.62 PPB. Hunter B was led in scoring by Pedro Juan Orduz who had an amazing 25-25-5 statline with 54.55 PPG to lead the team to the championship bracket with a 3-1 preliminary record. Teammates Cerulean Ozarow (14-26-9 with 38.64 PPG) and Rachel Yang (3-16-3 with 17.27 PPG) contributed to the team's wins over Glasgow and AMSA A.


Kellenberg A finished in 11th place overall but came in first in Consolation 1 with an 8-3 overall record and a 6-0 playoff record. Kellenberg A had a 17.22 PPB and had great wins over Boston Latin A and Plymouth. Captain Aidan York led the team in scoring with a 12-36-10 statline and 44.55 PPG, while teammate Tyler Martinus had a 5-28-8 statline with a 28.64 PPG. Teammates Kate Long (20.45 PPG) and Rob Tiss (10.91 PPG) contributed nicely to the team's impressive playoff record. Kellenberg B finished with a 2-8 record and 12.25 PPB led in scoring by Victor Louie with 46.67 PPG.
